Middle Name Update and Changes
In our continued effort to provide clients with accurate and complete background reports, we are implementing a system change regarding middle names. Due to recent news and legal developments, SSC will be mandating the middle name field to be completed with your orders.
Effective 11-7-16 if the following searches are in your order, the system will convert the middle name field as a required box.
County/Statewide Criminal
Federal Criminal
Federal Civil
County Civil
International Criminal
Multi-jurisdictional (AKA Nationwide)
You will not be able to complete your order without providing a middle name. In the rare occurrence a middle name does not exist, there is a box that can be checked to bypass the middle name requirement. This feature will work seamlessly if using Swift Hire or with manual orders.
