Special United Kingdom Requirements
Starting today February 1st, 2018 there is a new process for handling criminal searches in the UK. The process and requirements are dependent on the location of where the applicant will be working or living at the time of the request. The process for criminal searches will be handled by two separate agencies in the United Kingdom, Disclosure and Barring Service and Disclosure Scotland. Each of these agencies have very specific requirements and special forms that will have to be completed correctly in order to proceed with the request.

Due to the GDPR (reference) taking effect soon, many European and world wide countries are changing the way they allow information of their citizens to be released. This mostly affects financial or credit data, however it does influence the information provided in some cases like Criminal Data or Verifications.
